My father was using this inkjet printer in his office for printing bills and documents but it has numerous number of problems.
The printer is much heavy but user friendly with very easy to operate and handle. Software installation is little complex but however a guide is provided with it.
Printing speed is slow, it takes some time to print line by line and if you going to print more than 300 pages then you will need to sit along for atleast 2 hours. It creates much noise than other printers when on printing.
Many times paper gets stuck in this printer and again the whole printer is needed to be opened to take the crushed paper out that also results in wastage of ink.
A full inkjet prints only upto 350-400 pages only which is very low when compared to other inkjet printers that prints upto 600 pages. Paper handling is very difficult in this if your paper is slightly turned then it may result in crushing of paper.
Even though there is enough ink it always shows low toner error and never prints it sometimes makes us furious. Design and look is nice and glossy.
Epson service center is not available in every city. I had to go to bangalore once for low toner error and they returned after servicing only after 14 days and the printer was working for 2 weeks fine and then again the same error. Service is not much good.
