For the first time in ages here comes a show which is so aptly named, Emotional Atyachaar, well not for the viewers, but for the people who participate( who dare to if I may add)
What happens is, every week there is a person(lead) who is suspicious of his/her bf/gf/wife/husband and that person gets to see what happened when the other person (suspect) was put though a loyalty test, ( of course the loyalty test is done without the knowledge of the other person and with the help of technology )
Now, whats a loyalty test? Well, the suspect is introduced to a attractive man/woman(under cover agent), and rest of the test happens automatically! :P Every test leads to shocking results for the viewers and for the lead!
Apart from the cheating, the suspects always have shocking confessions to make ( I don't know how much of it is true) from the number of girlfriends/boyfriends to one night stands to speaking ill about their present partners.. It leaves the viewer and the lead in utter state of shock!
Whats good about this show is the kind of impact it has on you, you start to question relationships and love itself! You will definitely think a thousand times before getting into one if you ever watch this show..
What is absolutely unbelievable(at least for me) is the short time frame(usually 3-4days) in which people are ready to cheat on their gfs/bfs, is it that easy? :l We are shown the footage of the time the under cover agent and the suspect spent, but I often wonder are we shown the whole story ?
It must take a person of great values and morals to resist someone who is literally all over you and is far more attractive than your present partner! Not that I am in anyways supporting cheating but its definitely something to think about!
This show is into its second season now and there have been hardly two or three people who have come out clean, what does it mean? Does this mean people who participate in this show are already going through a rough time in their relationships and they just want to get back or people are really being cheated everyday?
Well, I can analyze and over analyze but this show is certainly a mirror which shows the ugly side of relationships in today's times but is there only an ugly side? We will never know!
Overall, I would say its worth watching, but this is not for people with weak hearts!
Oh I forgot, the best part of the show is when the lead catches the suspect red handed and the under cover agent escapeeeeeees! :P
