I flew from Bangalore to New York via Dubai on Emirates. The first leg from BLR to Dubai was cramped and it seemed to be a well-worn plane. The flight was also very full. However we found the staff was very helpful especially when travelling with a child.
From Dubai to JFK, they had the A380 which was a very pleasant flying experience. The Indian vegetarian food though was not something to be recommended. And what passed off as a pizza snack towards the end of the flight was best avoided.
The staff were again very helpful.
On the way back, the flight was delayed in take-off from JFK so the connection to Bangalore was a bit hurried. Overall a good experience though not great!
