I was transferred from FlyDubai to Emirates. At first, I thought it would be nice to fly on A380 aircraft. An A380 itself provides a comfortable seating. Plus, passengers can use internet on-board for free for 2 hours. But the problem is this aircraft is too big so that it affects the quality of the service. I do not blame the flight attendants as they maybe very exhausted. So, I asked the crew 2 glasses of water the time so that I did not have to bother them to much.
To be fair, if you don't care for food, it is quite comfortable as you can sleep well on this economy class seat. I could say that Emirates is not that great since I have flown with other airlines which have been rated as 5 stars.
First of all, they had to make a very long pre-boarding announcement, I was lucky enough that I didn't feel too tired otherwise I may end up not being served the food. The selection of new Hindi movie is quite limited. There was no English translation for Arabic movies that I am so surprised. I have to say that I prefer Entertainment system on Jet airways, and if I can save 50EUR I would stop in Mumbai rather than Dubai since the food and average in Dubai is so expensive.
I had the feeling that they put Thai passengers in the same section from Dubai to Bangkok so that Thai speaking crew can take care of us in our language.
Before landing, they do ask you how the screen how many point would rate the service which I never find in other airlines.
