I had booked and reconfirmed a test drive from Elroy Hyundai in Def Colony post which I had indicated that we were to finalise on the deal on that day itself if the negotiations are duly carried out(we had fixed on the car we wanted to buy).
They gave me a time at 5.00 PM on a Sunday and hence my family decided to cancel our other appointments as this was an important decision/transaction. Despite confirming on sms the earlier day, not only did these people not turn up on time(I understand somebody could be late / caught up in traffic), I didn't get any information on the same whatsoever. When I called the executive(in this case, an Omdutt Sharma), he did not pickup my call. My Family waited the whole evening but no one came.
While it's not a transactional fraud, it does leave a bad taste in one's mouth as clearly the company doesn't believe in basic courtesies and commitments. Further, when I called up the Dealership and wanted to give the feedback to Mr Yadav(whom I was informed was the owner), no one gave me his number. A Mr Narula, while hearing me out, gave me no explanation for this lack of behaviour.
For some old timers like us who still believe in things called commitment, not only is it a poor experience, but an indication on the lack of commitment which this company/dealership may offer to it;s customers(as it is rather strange that people don't even show up when one wants to book a car)
