Dear Friends,
Ek chalis ki last local is one among those movies which bombs on the box office just for the simple reason that they are devoid of any BIG NAMES. It brings in light the fact that people are fast loosing their appetite for good movies. But who is to be blamed? Not just audience but critics as well who failed to see a new subject and treatment.
Star cast: -
and many more.
Story in Nutshell: -
What happens when you miss your last local to your destination? And you have two and half hours to your disposal before another train may arrive. The entire story takes place within these two and half hours where Nilesh meets Madhu(a mysterious character indeed who appears in the middle of the night all decked up). Nilesh gets to know lot of things about Madhu within this time period and also(lucky chap) gets the possession of a whopping amount that most of us middle class families can only dream of.
Performance: -
Abhay Deol
He is simply remarkable. A good actor who has the potential of making it big in tinsel town but is failed by luck. A performance that could have easily died had there been any King Khan or Big B, performing it since it required the innocence of a child and maturity of a age old man.
He is not witty and serious but what wins over is his perfect timing with comic roles and serious characters.
Especially, when he is tied on the bed to be raped, he does some fine scenes to be remembered long after you have watched the movie.
Neha Dhupia
She is good. Being into flesh business she looks elegant and like any of us. She is also good but only thing that she still needs to brush upon is her acting caliber that can be polished a little bit.
Snehal Dabi
As Habiba he gives some finest performance in the movie. I loved his character and his portrayal. It is not just simple but natural. Simplicity in these roles is what is very difficult to achieve and he does it with ease and brilliantly.
Music: -
Music is good and guys if you have not heard the m, music then you are missing something in life and better go and check out the cassette or CD in the market or even borrow it from friends. you won't be disappointed.
