Really, I have a very bad experience with the service of this company. I never think of such poor service by a brand name like EdelWeiss. I have purchase the policy having claim no CLM0015467. When my mobile phone was pick pocketed I asked for the claim. Since very beginning, they were not helpful. They asked for the original document after verification of the scanned copy of all the required docs. I sent the same on time, they took more than expected time to update the status that they received the docs. Then they asked us to wait for maximum 20 working days to get the further updates. It's been more than 30 days, I didn't get any update.
It takes 5-6 times to connect to the customer care representative. In case if it is connected, during the call the call connects to the other customer of EdelWeiss, I don't know the reason but most of the times it happens.
Apart from all these the main concern is the claim settlement, you ask for maximum 20 days to settle the claim but more than 30 working days is over and I didn't get any claim amount.
It is being said by the customer care representative that "It willl take 2 more working days to get the update" but on completion of 2 days when I call the CCR they say the same thing. It is just like making me fool
I hope I have wasted my time and money. I have taken a wrong decision to buy the insurance cover from such a company for whom the customer is just a fool.
