Let me share my experience with Baazee. Probably India will never became a safe place for internet shopping ..
---
Recently I bought two items from Baazee .
One was a cordless phone another was a footpump.
The sellers are ShopperMall and Coolenough.
Be careful while buying from Baazee. For telephone these fraud sellers will give a old used rechargeable batteries which will not charge for more than 10 mins of talk time !. Even if you try charging it for more than 12hrs for few days. If you write to the seller ,he wont respond. If you give negetive feedback to baazee they will not publish it either.
Infact for ShoppersMall two days back I saw his negetive rating were 13% , suddently today I see it as 7% reason being baazee has deleted some of his negative ratings !!. I sincerely warn all buyers from buying from baazee unless you are ready to take this kind of risk. With the foot pump the experience was even more interesting. Here is my feedback I gave to baazee which they have not published yet. ---
Seller is fraud, since what he claims in the baazee listing about this product is just not true.
This Pump is so fragile that after I used it for my bicycle today the pump body twisted !! . Its probably a baby toy ,not a pump. Since its cheap it does not make sense to send it back for refund, since I may not get anything money out of it. I consider this as a loss of Rs. 200/- Buyers be careful from all sellers who are selling this same Foot Pump. Unless your plan is to inflate ballons do not buy it.
--------------------
Recommendation to Baazee -
Do not delete any negetive feedback given to seller without prior consent of the buyer.
Allow buyers to communicate with other buyers directly so that they can ask or check whether a product or seller is worth buying .
If the product deliverd by seller is totally different from what he had advertised , like the foot pump from CoolEnough, the seller should pay for the shipping charges to and fro to the buyer plus the cost of the product as refund. Otherwise most buyers will not care to send such cheap products back. SInce cost of shipping is almost equal to cost of the product, so whats the point asking for refund ! Basically sellers should be penalized for such misleading sales.
Once such negetive feedback is received on a product, any same item listed by the seller should be banned by baazee.
India being a place of dishonest and fraud people such internet selling should be strictly monitored. Without this baazee is providing a national platform for many fraud sellers to cheat buyers online, becuase such products no one will buy in any shop unless you are insane. This is not US nor it can work at same trust level as eBay works.
