We booked a Drivezy car on 1st Nov' 2019 to visit few of the places in Bengaluru. The PNR number was 9171021537. We went to the station at around 1 PM to collect the car. The car was bit dirty from inside and the no one took any sort of interest to let us know the basics of their services. They just gave us the keys and took a picture of the car along with us along with a copy of DL and aadhar card. To our surprise, there was no fuel in the car. The person over there told us that you can get it filled and we will reimburse it later on. We said fine, no issues.
After riding the car for around 7-8 kms, the car stopped suddenly on the road. I was travelling with my wife and my son and we were lucky that no vehicle hit us from the back. I thought it might be a small glitch and we moved on from there. After that, when we are coming back in the night time to return the car, the same thing happened. The car again stopped in middle of the road however this time we were not lucky. A speeding vehicle from the back hit us and most of the damage happened to that vehichle only. On our car, there was a small dent and the rear bumper got touched with the rear right side tyre. Because of that it was very difficult to drive the car and there was this sound coming out of it. Also, the rear right side red color frame of the indicator light broke down, the bulb inside was still intact.
We right away called the station manager to apprise him of the situation and he told us to call the customer care and at the same time we shared the car pics with him as well over whatsapp. We called up customer care and after 5-7 attempts they answered our call and the customer care executive told us that he cannot help us and we'll have to connect base with station manager only. The station manager was saying the opposite. We wasted 2-3 hours fighting with them on the road itself and not even a word of empathy was said even by one of them, forget about assisting us. Finally the station manager asked us to leave the vehicle at the nearest drivezy center, which was near the Yelachenahalli metro station as according to him the damage was not much. We somehow managed to drive the vehicle there. When we reached there, this station manager told us to pay Rs 8000 for a small dent and a broken frame, which according to us would not cost more that Rs 1000-1500. To save ourselves from further frustration, I requested him to settle it down for Rs 4000 but he would not listen and started threatning us. The two boys at the drivezy center were not allowing me, my wife and my son to leave that place without paying that money.
Finally, I had to call the Banglore police. The police arrived within the next 15 mins and I must say that the support given was very good by police folks. They listened to us and told these drivezy guys that they cannot hold us like that. Then, I decided that now I would not pay a single penny to these cheaters. They left us abandoned on the road and did not provide any kind of support. They are pathetic to a level which is unimaginable, highly unprofessional.
I would request everyone not to go for drivezy. They just want to loot your money and nothing else. They are big cheaters and fraud number one company. Better go for OLA rentals/ drive, the price may be a little higher but you will have a peace of mind and that's the biggest thing.
