Guys don't go with the fabricated high ratings for this travel agency. They are simply the worst. They can do anything. They can mess up your itinerary and you will be in soup while you are traveling. They would show one hotel and send the pics, but they would have actually booked a different hotel and cheat you. Will explain all these in detail below.
I had recently visited Sikkim through this agency. Had a tough time. The tour operator was Shelina Chettri. She gives a lesser quote than others, even though the hotels offered were same as others did. And I simply went by that and there my problem starts.
Tour Plan:
We never had a Gangtok local sightseeing in our Itenary. Don't know from where she got this. Day 2 was our Nathula and Day 3 North Sikkim. After tiring Day 2 trip, we were going back to room for a peaceful evening. I simply felt like asking for vehicle and driver details for Day 3. There comes a surprise, that she had booked our North Sikkim only for Day 4 and Day 3 was Gangtok local sightseeing. We did not have enough time as we were travelling back on Day 7. The whole evening till midnight it was so much of tension for us and we were not sure whether we would make North Sikkim or not. I cannot explain in words, the trauma I went through. Shelina's explanation this time was " Operations team messed it up". I should say that with Gods grace, we could make North Sikkim tour as per our plan.
Hotel Booking:
a. I prefered to stay in a hotel close to MG Marg, though it was not a priority for me. Hotel they offered was Hotel Petunia. When I asked her how far is this hotel from MG Marg, she said 15 mints walk. Thanks to Google Map, when I checked I found it was around 10 kms away. This lady would never accept her fault and keeping put blame on others. She said her previous clients told her it seems this is just at 15 mints walk! This was before we commited and since it was not a priority for me, I just ignored this and told her to be honest. But I should have become alert and kept myself away from this travel agency. My fault.
b. In the Itenary and in the invoice, hotel booking in Lachung was Rufina Lachung Pride. When we went to the hotel, we realized that they did not have any room there for us. Instead, it was Hotel Floret, worst room and service. I would not have gone with this package if had known about this earlier. Posting it here to make others know about the unprofessionalism these guys can show so that no one else would get fooled like me, When we asked Shelina about this. Her response was "I left the company":). This incident was towards the end of our holidays and we had many more surprises and eventful and memorable incidents earlier. So I guess "I left the company" is the last excuse she could make to runaway from this mess. We cannot reach out to anyone above her. You will be simply left alone.
Cab:
We wanted to have Innova throughout our journey, They provided Innova only for North Sikkim trip. Rest all it was Hatchback. I was ready to increase the budget if they had told. Till last day, she kept on saying I will try my best to get you Innova and nothing happened.
Guys BEWARE! DOn't ever go with these ppl.
