Hello MSians, as things stand now, in today’s world, Internet has become a 'HOT' Place where every little info is also available. Everyday many websites are being developed for the convenience of over million consumers. There are many websites on internet for downloading pictures, games, softwares, viewing information about many things; latest weather conditions, news or happenings across the globe can be viewed in just a few clicks. So, few years(3) back when I started surfing the internet, I came across a very famous website known as Download.com...Since that time, I have seen it gain more & more popularity !!!!

Download.com is a very popular spyware-free website among computer savvy people.Here we can download unlimited number of:

1. Software's :

This website is filled with many exciting and interesting softwares. You can download as many as you want (They are countless). They keep updating their database and also add many new software’s daily which have just been launched. The list of 10 most popular software’s of the week is also shown seperately.Like we write reviews on products on MS and people then rate & comment on them, the same way in download.com you can write a full detailed review on your favorite software by just becoming a member of it.Frankly speaking the reviews are awesome, to the point. If you want to download a particular software, then you can search for it. Various sub-categories include- Drivers, Utilities, Desktop Enhancements, Internet, Spyware center and many more. Some are freeware while others are shareware softwares.Till now I must have downloaded around 65-70 software’s.

1. Music:

This feature has just been added by the developers of the website. Here you can only download English songs MP3's and not Hindi songs.(A major Drawback).Good point is that, some of them are available for download for free.Since it's been almost a year since the website changed it's whole look, added categories, the database has less no. of songs as compared to the no. of softwares...Various Sub-Categories Include- Jazz, Rock & Pop, Hip-Hop,Blues,Country,Folk,Latin etc..Overall a good collection..:)

Yo, favorite categories for many MS users like : Diver(Teny Bhaiya). Awesome games are available here for every kind of a game lover but mostly they are demo versions, I still like to download them. The games are totally different and too good. Also you can watch the trailer of the game in .wmv format. For the full version you need to buy them. Various sub-categories include- Arcade, Strategy, Sports, Simulation, action etc.... My favorite game has been: Bookworm Deluxe!!!!

1. Video Center:

The name of the category only suggests the meaning but since this is a review, I would need to explain it in detail. You need a flash plug-in installed to view these Video's on your PC..Throught this feature, you can also upload your own video and download.com will host it for you for free. I have uploaded two of them. As soon you view this particular page, the video of the day is shown. There are many videos which are submitted by the users itself. Various sub categories include: Music Videos, Viral Video's, TV Videos etc....

Every product on this website has got two kinds of ratings: Expert Rating & User Rating.Talking about it's looks, it is love at first sight...They are truly refreshing. and are pleasing to the eye. Colour Combinations are outstanding. They have upgraded thier website's whole look recently.The tabs provided there has made the navigation through the website very easy. The advertisements are helpful at times The tech news keeps us in touch with the latest happenings in the IT/Technology sector. Never shopped through this website, so can’t really comment on that but have heard that the experience is average.

So to sum it up, it's a good experience and you also tend to gain some knowledge about the various softwares, games . Cool Site recommended for every Tom, Dick & Harry.
