I was in the Big Bazaar one month ago. Big Bazaar is known for some excellent Marketing. I had a trolley and my four year old daughter inside that enjoying the movement with me.
I was going through the Health and Beauty section and caught hold of Dove Intense repair shampoo. There was an offer of Dove Conditioner too. I thought it to give it a try., though I was happy with the performance of the Ketomac Shampoo which I have been using from Chandigarh itself.
The Packaging of the Shampoo
I shall give a five star to it. White Background and an extremely attractive shape with a Flip Lid. The bottom is wider than the Top. All marketing Gimmicks are used as for example ``Advanced damage care technology:
. FIBRE ACTIVES deeply penetrate porus hair to reconstruct it deep inside
. Patented MICRO MOISTURE SERUM strengens hair from root to tip``
Above three sentences has been taken from the information given on the pack. Hope HUL does not mind it.
The Experience
Very pleasing indeed. Good fragrance.
The Effect.
First day a lot of hair fell which I ignored totally. But when I applied it subsequently a lot of hair kept falling which was indeed alarming. I was a prize winner in Jaipur when I won the best prize for my Hair in 2001 and what Dove is doing to my hair!! The feel was good with the Conditioner provided but once I did not apply it and the hair was too much dry which was not in line with the claims in all it`s advertisements or on the pack.
Very very poor show by Dove.
I am not recommending it to any one.
