When the initial lockdown was announced, what was your first reaction? Mine was, "Do I have enough food at home? "
There are a few people like me on this planet who even the whole lockdown situation just liked to order grocery, food and drinks online. Needless to say, now more than ever I was hoping to order my grocery online.
Alas! That's when this app comes into picture. Just like any other app, this wasn't available and just gave one message - Time slot unavailable. I understand times are tough, but even the government has given permission for home delivery. Infact, that means less contact.
After all this rant, let's begin with the pros and cons:
PROS:
Variety of goods - They have a huge variety in products. Just like the actual Dmart store, the app is filled with alternatives for every big brand in the market.
Cheaper - They have really great prices for some products that aren't the big brand. They have accommodated a lot of different brands and not just the basic and famous ones.
App interface - Very layman friendly. I can expect a not so tech savvy person to easily use this app.
CONS:
Time Slot Availability - Given the fact that they do not have a time slot available at any hour of the day, the whole variety of products etc doesn't really make any sense. ( Image provided)
Cannot handle traffic - This app faces a lot of issue with a lot of traffic. Frequently, I get a message when I go on the app that the app will not work as there's a lot of people using it. I will share the image the next time I get that message.
All in all, this app has good products and easy on the pocket, but no time slots to actually deliver them.
