Want to share our real experiences with Distant Holidays in order to provide awareness so others don’t go through the same sufferings. First and Foremost - Don’t ever believe them and mislead by Google reviews and fall into their hands. These reviews seem to be fake and should be posted by them directly for marketing.
We were assigned a person named SADAF NABI and paid an advance amount for the package and after that, these people don’t ever attend the call (very responsive until you pay an amount)
They will send you an itinerary after the advance payment (you will never know that’s only a draft and not the confirmed one)
No one will arrive at the airport to pick you on time. You will need to make at least 10 times call and yell at them so someone will come to airport after 45 minutes.
You will never get a room after arriving at the hotel on day 1 though they say room is already booked. You can’t refresh yourself after the travel and they force you to go for sightseeing (no breakfast too- you can imagine the frustration and pain how a family with two kids less than 5 years of age travelled after a long distance would have gone through)
We travelled to Pahalgam from Srinagar on Day 2 and Distant Holidays (SADAF NABI) called us around noon to check out the hotel where we are almost half way through and did not realize they booked hotel only for one night where as the itinerary says stay for 2 nights. After argument, SADAF said they sent an email in the past with hotel confirmation and stays but they NEVER SENT ANY SUCH CONFIRMATION EMAILS. In order to prove that, we asked them multiple times to forward that old email but they did not.
Last day of our trip on Day 3, SADAF asked us to pay the remaining entire amount and she never compensated or reduced package amount for all the inconveniences they caused.
Next day on Day 4, SADAF assured will send a driver to drop us at the airport on time which is part of the package but did not send a driver. When we called the driver he said will be there in 10 minutes but he never showed up. We called Distant Holidays and they asked us to be patient where we had only 1.5 hours for the flight time and driver arrived after about 1 hour later. The entire hotel staffs made multiple calls to driver after seeing our sufferings. To be honest whole family along with small kids woke up at 5 am and did not even had a sip of water were waiting for the vehicle until 7 am. Their final response after all these is only a single word SORRY!!
So Guys don’t ever believe and book with them else your holiday trip will be spoiled!!
