The major drawback in dish tv dvr is that you can record the channel which you view it is not possible to record a channel and view another one.
Before ordering dvr remote I asked the customer care executive he replied that it is possible to view a channel and record another simultaneously provided both channel are in same transponder. As per my package Dish tv broadcasts 326 channels through 19 transponders.
But with in the same transponders also viewing one channel while recording another channel is not possible. The customer care executive was half knowledge person or he made wrong promise.
