THE AFTER SALES SERVICE OF DISH TV IS NON-EXISTANT. THERE IS NO IN-HOUSE MECHANISM TO RESOLVE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS.
IN MY CASE, I HAD EARLIER USED A SET TOP BOX OF DISH TV WHICH STOPPED WORKING 2 YEARS BACK. I WAS FORCED TO BUY NEW SET TOP BOX AND VC CARD THEN.
RECENTLY I ERRONEOUSLY MADE PAYMENT FOR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE NAME OF THE OLD VC NUMBER WHICH I HAVE DISCARDED SINCE 2 YEARS. THE COMPANY IS REFUSING TO TRANSFER THE MONEY IN FAVOUR OF THE NEW VC NUMBER AND IS ALSO REFUSING TO REFUND THE MONEY TO ME. WHAT SHALL I DO? I HAVE PAID RS.1800 FOR 6 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION BUT THE COMPANY HAS SWALLOWED THE MONEY AND IS REFUSING TO HONOUR ITS OBLIGATION.
I HAVE PROCEEDED WITH A COMPALINT AGAINST THE COMPANY WITH THE CONSUMER GRIEVANCE CELL. ALL OTHER CONSUMERS WHO HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY DISH TV SHOULD COME TOGETHER SO THAT WE CAN JOINTLY HOLD A PRESS CONFERENCE TO EXPOSE THIS SHADY COMPANY AND ITS EVIL INTENTIONS. ALL CUSTOMERS CHEATED BY DISH TV CAN ALSO HIRE COMMON LAWYERS TO CLAIM DAMAGES FROM THE COMPANY.
