Hello friends. Today I went to watch Dhadak. I found the movie having no uniqueness with respect to conventional love stories featuring a villain brother( Godaan Kumar as Roop) and a greater villain father(Ashutosh Rana as Ratanji). To me, the bigger perspective of the movie appeared to be reflecting the issues of romantic affairs between Parthavi Singh(role played in the movie by debutant Janhvi Kapoor) and Madhukar Bagla(role played in the film by debutant Ishaan Khattar) both of whom belonged to completely different socio-economic classes of Udaipur. However, the love story depicted was no different from that depicted in age old romantic movies like "Qamat se qamat tak" or "Sadma" wherein socio-economic issues in some way or the other brought pathetic ends to promising love stories. Overall, the plot of the story has no special feature or twist that can distinguish it from previously featured romantic sagas.
So friends, in my opinion, the film envisages a very conventional love story with a typical pathetic ending and definitely does not beckon a "must-watch" scenario.
