Complete list of songs which made me numb and dry and insane for some time.
EMOSANAL ATTYACHAR: You must have heard bands playing in marriages and if by chance you missed it which I am sure cannot be true, just listen this composition. Mind blowing track and the lyrics are funnier than funny itself!! A onetime listening track and good swing from melody to something crazy!!!
DUNIYA: Sung by some Amit Trivedi (sorry I never knew that a singer with such a name exists!!) is a normal number with loads of beats probably more than needed!!
NAYAN TARSE: Again sung by Amit (I feel he has bought the copyright of the album), is again different and what should I say a slow rock. Have they tried to make a Bruce Springsteen song? But then nothing special about it other than the lyrics which have some weird words.
PARDESI: The soul charm of the album. Everything good about it and I personally loved the line “RAMJI KARO BERA PAAR”. Rajasthani influence in the lyrics and beats this time suit the song. An exception in the album for sure!
SAALI KHUSHI: Amit stop singing. I didn’t mean it. Just, the songs are not at all vibrant with the vocals provided by you and one more thing why have you forced the rocker influence in your voice? Buddy it is not required everywhere!
PAAYALIYA: What was it? Okay to listen but very easy to forget types except the “MY GOD” vocal that is present in the background.
MAHI MENNU: Labh Janjua sings this. Do I need to elaborate?
AANKH MICHOLI: Rubbish! I would never listen to this till I am under the influence of some dope.
YAHI MERI ZINDAGI: The song doesn’t start for like 30 seconds and when it does you just go for achange.
DHOL YAARA DHOL: Tolerable but definitely not a genius’s invention. Decent song.
EK HULCHUL SI: Why have they used “hulchul” so many times? Ignore the number, can cause a headache or a serious mood swing from good to bad.
HIKKNAAL: Labh Janjua sings again and I don’t comment on his songs. Same beats and same compositions.
DIL MEIN JAAGI: Good piano works in the beginning of the song but then suddenly you hear a lady singing and this urge hits you that you should kick your speakers. Then suddenly an opera track is invested in the middle and this type you find the urge to throw yourself from the top of the building.
There are four more tracks in the movie; if you have the guts listen to them. I just can’t torture my senses more. After all I need to remain sane.
You just can’t live on two tracks. Why have they included eighteen tracks in the album when only two are worth a hearing? Okay I got to know that the music director is Amit Trivedi himself. Then it’s okay, I do understand the quality failure.
Amitabh Bhattacharya does some good work with his pen, the only saving grace of the album.
