I am again with another review about dell Inspiron 3520. My last laptop was Toshiba satellite and my experience with Toshiba is not pleasing. Hence I sold out Toshiba laptop and bought dell .
Major battle was between dell and Hp. HP was finally ruled out because I just wanted to try dell. From the first day itself I found that dell is a superior laptop in every aspects. Key board gives a superior feel. 15.6 inch screen and awesome performance.
Major advantages
1) It is a super cool laptop. Battery panel , body is always cool. Toshiba lap was generating too much heat from battery panel air vents under lap. and we can use it as heater.
2) Amazing battery backup : I am getting 4.30 hrs of backup ( incase if Toshiba it was 3.12 hours for first 3 month and 1 hr for next three months. Battery will die within 7 months. )
3) Softwares : dell is providing lot of software’s to manage the laptop. Extended battery and diagnostic tools .
4) Support : the support I received from dell is quite awesome. They are ready to provide answers to our qns. Toshiba was not ready to hear or answer our concerns. toshiba email ids were not working for long time.
5) Performance of the lap is awesome. Toshiba was also not bad in terms of performance.
6) I got another opportunity to feel their attitude. My laptop bag was defective stitching issues and I reported it. Compu India ( dell online associate) send another backpack without any sort of argument. I just send the pics to their email id.
7) Looks like a sold product.

9) Prices of all spares are very clear and we can purchase it online without any hassles. Toshiba was horrible and nobody was aware (service center )about the price of battery back. One guy told me price of battery is rs 8000.

Disadvantages
I m unable to remove hard disk, memory etc. it may require remove keyboard and top panel. There is no user removable parts in the bottom.
No color warning available for battery charge
Warning lights are in same color
