CLASSIC!. Review on Delhi Belly Songs

There is only one name in Bollywood from whom one can expect something differant, unique and brilliant and that is Aamir Khan, he surely thinks out of the box and hence the rest of Bollywood looks so mediocre because they don't try to be original or creative.

DELHI BELLY surely is one of the best soundtracks I have heard in recent times and the reason is it is so original and good, though the music is very rock based still is very enjoyable.Take a bow Ram Sampath and Amitabh, everybody needs a break from all the crappy music Bollywood is churning out nowadays.

There are 10 tracks in the album.

The album opens with the  very enjoyable Bhaag Bhaag DK BOSE which is my current favourite song, its so funky  and is sung with aplomb by Ram Sampath.The video adds to the appeal of the song.The lyrics are also very catchy just as the song and you start humming the song as soon as you listen to it.A must hear.

The next track Nakkaddwaley Disco which again has the most funny lyrics and an absolutely great video, its a very funny song and brilliantly sung by Keerti Sagathia, had it not been for his singing the song would have fell flat so great singing and an even greater video makes the song a winner.

Saigal Blues has to be one of the best inventions in music in recent times, i Love KL saigal's songs and this one just takes the cake.Its so experimental and innovative, a perfect mix of an old song with some western instruments.Whats really praiseworthy is that someone had the guts to actually reinvent this song and make it sound so good.Hats off.

Bedardi Raja is sung by a very talented singer Sona Mohapatra and is kind of Rajasthani folk item song  a little like Beedi from Omkara, its very folksy and catchy with rustic lyrics, quite enjoyable track.

Jaa Chudail is my favourite track from the film after DK BOSE, its a perfect rock song with absolutely amazing and funny lyrics, i love the way the singer says Ja Chudail.Suraj Jagan does a great job making it thoroughly enjoyable.

Tere Siva is a beautiful love song sung by Ram Sampath and Tarannum Mallik, though it is nothing differant but still sounds very nice and soothing.Its better than all the love songs which come out nowadays.

Switty Tera Pyar is a very cute Punjabi song like Sadi gali, it can be a hit when the video comes out.Its sung nicely by Keerthi Sagathia, i have one more punjabi song to enjoy this year after sadi gali.Surely enjoyable.

I hate you(like I love you)is also one of my favourite songs from the film.The song is like a tribute to Bappi Lahri and Abba, its got that disco feel to it, its a unique song, i love the line in the song tere pyar ne kar diya deewana, very cute song.Its sung effortlessly by Sona Mohapatra and Keerthi Sagathia.

So if you are also bored like me of the Pritams, Vishal Shekhar and others listen to Delhi Belly and you will just love it.Dont miss it if you enjoy differant music.
