Once again Sardar Surendra Singh Sohal was recognized by some people and they want his involvement in crime but forcibly. After murder of Shanta Gokuldas and taking her necklace of pearl, Sardar Surendra Singh left Bombay(Now Mumbai) and reached Madras(Now Chennai). He again changed his name from Vimal Kumar Khanna to Girish Mathur. He tried to sell the necklace to get some money but he was recognized by Virappa, Jayshankar and Sadashiv Rao. They want to rob the money which will be collected during the pop show in Anna stadium. They seek help of Vimal in this robbery.
Vimal Kumar Khanna aka Sardar Surender Singh Sohal alias Girish Mathur is forced to have to get involved in such a crime whereas he wants to go away from this. But everyone is scared of his death and these criminals are threatening to Vimal that if he will not be in part of their plan, they can report in police, which will cause death sentence to Vimal.
"Do think what you will, but in reality, I'm not a professional criminal. I did two crimes but that was due to demand of circumstances and obsession. I was banished from the prison because other prisoners were escaping and in spate with others I was able to escape. Today, I feel that if I had not escape from prison that night and if I had completed remaining four months of my sentence quietly then I would have trimmed hundreds of problems which came to me later. And the murder which I did because I want to help the helpless person and it is in interest of him. But, I apocalypse myself to do good things for other. Brother, I am not a professional criminal and not too courageous.”
Due to the pressure from these professional criminals, Vimal has to be involved in the robbery. The robbery was successful accomplished. Then the bloody events started which is founded by deception of Jai Shankar when his greediness taken over life of human. Sadashiv Rao has been killed by guards during encounter with them. Abraham was injured due to bullet which was fired during the encounter. Jay Shankar runs away with money in ambulance. Vimal and Virappa reached to the pre-decided place and wait for Jay Shankar to come. But the mastermind of the robbery, Jay Shankar has intention to cheat them and gone with all money. During the police investigation the location of Vimal and Virappa was traced. In this encounter Virappa had been shoot dead but Vimal escaped from here. After getting information from Virappa, Vimal got clue of Jayshankar where he was hidden.

“Money and Blood” is the second adventure in Vimal Saga. This novel was published in 1971. Although Sir Surendra Mohan Pathak perceived that some events of this novel had been taken from a foreign novel. Later he changed some event in story which story is different form first edition. The novel had not got much fame as much it has in present.
Characterization of all characters is strong and awesome. The Madrasi characters of novel like as - Jayshankar, Sadashiv Rao, Mutthu, Kuppuswami etc. are memorable. Sir Surender Mohan Pathak Jee has taken care of Madras ambient society and environment and presented some dialogs in Madrasi language.
The plot of novel and reading ability is excellent, means the conversation and the flow of story makes this well readable. The events which were written by using many moments force you to read this book many times. The thrill and adventure in this novel is at very extent from its previous book. The plan to rob the money from stadium was planned very preciously. It’s make you to think that how the writer gone through with such deep detail.
Sir Surender Mohan Pathak did justice with every character and gave them space. The scene of robbery gives you the feel of thrill and suspense and it grips you with the story. This novel is counted in the list of memorable novels due to its unique events and story.
