Movie review. Review on Darna Zaroori Hai

I am a big movie fan and always dissect the movie after watching it.bore my friends with ''CONSTRUCTIVE CRTICISM'' about the movie.Will like to direct one day.

MOVIE:DARNA ZAROORI HAI

TARGET AUDIENCE:15-35 M/F URBAN

Typically,I never compare movies while reviewing them but since this movie is a sequel(IS IT?) I would like to compare it with darna Mana hai.

If u have not seen DARNA MANA HAI,then u might enjoy this movie.Assuming that most of u would have seen the DARNA MANA HAI,this new movie has nothing new to offer.

The funda about horror movies is that even if one enjoys the going ons but if the ending is bad,the final impression about the story is bad.U feel cheated.

That is the feeling that most stories in this film leave u with.

Out of the six stories,the first and the last one try and appeal to your intelligence and at the same time scare you.

All the others start off but fall flat in their cilmaxes.

Unlike darna mana hai which had a decent parallel story running,here the story about an old woman narrating stories to kids fails to have the desired effect.

The old woman is just there to announce that a new story begins.

Ram Gopal directed sequence with Amitabh and riteish is perhaps the worst of the lot.When it ends,one gets the feeling that it was too good to be understood by mere mortals but once the viewer confirms with his co viewers he realises that the end was simply unexplainably horrible.

Would not like to give away about the story here as I believe it is no fun to watch a horror story knowing what to expect.

As far as acting goes,almost all actors have managed to display their acting prowess.

Inparticular Mr bachchan,randeep hooda,raj pal yadav,arjun rampal,makarand deshpande,manoh pahwa,mallik sherawat stand out.

Two of the stories are inspired from Vivek-nana story of Darna Mana hai.

Ram Gopal Verma needs to spend more time on story and screenplay.

On the whole this movie tries to scare you,but you have become more demanding as a viewer after watching RGV's earlier movies like darna mana hai,bhoot and vaastushastra.

I will conclude by saying,this movie should be watched and enjoyed sitting on a couch on a lazy sunday on some satellite tv channel.
