There is a theory that listening to Metal music is not good for health.. To prove this theory.... Let me see most of the people listening to Metal are in their early thirties or late twenties and who have not amounted to anything much and still think listening to angry metal music is the way to SALVATION!!!! I am not that old yet so what the heck I shall listen to Iron Maiden throughout the day and still not get affected..
Iron Maiden, Who???
Come on....you must be knowing who these guys are... Anyways I shall give a short Intro:
Iron Maiden belongs to the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) group from London, England..They are often and popularly referred to as a ''Death Metal Group''.. Iron Maiden debuted in the year 1979, with ''Metal For Muthas''... It is a common misconception that Iron Maiden Debuted With ''Iron Maiden'' in the year 1980..
The Number of the Beast is a heavy metal album released in 1982 by Iron Maiden, and is widely considered to be one of the most influential albums in its genre.
Even though Iron Maiden was on the brink of worldwide superstardom after its breakthrough effort, Killers, vocalist Paul Di'Anno left the band at the conclusion of its 1981 world tour.
The Number of the Beast is thus vocalist Bruce Dickinson's debut album with the band. And boy did he make it big.. The songs even after so many years of release remains to be a classic.. I am able to discover new things in this album every time I listen to it... And I am sure there are many unexplored regions of this album.. The release of Number Of The Beast was crucial to the development of the band. Without it, Iron Maiden might never have gone on to be such a force in the heavy metal arena. The album was a spectacular success, the sound of a band on the crest of a wave.
Since this album, ''The Beast'' has become something of a nickname for the band and possibly Eddie, as suggested by albums such as ''Best of the Beast'', ''Beast Over Hammersmith'', and the DVD ''Visions of the Beast''.
The album,''Hallowed Be Thy Name'', was the centre of much controversy due to Satanic accusations in the album.. Lyrical themes coupled with perfect guitaring and awesome solo's is the trademark of Iron Maiden..
Iron Maiden are the best band in the world EVER!. They create absolutely amazing music that cannot be beaten. Every one of their albums ( 13, yes 13 studio albums!!!) are brilliant.. They have rocked right from their debut album to their recent release ''Dance Of Death''..
A new album has been announced, to be released before November and December 2006.

Now coming to the album
Dance Of Death
Aww man what an album.. Just great..Iron Maiden has brought forth yet another masterpiece. More than 2 decades into the scene, still so many metal tunes up thier sleeve! The new reunited line up is just beginning to rock us out of our seats.. We in India had to wait a little longer for the relase of the album but it was worth the wait...
Dance Of Death displays a rude energy that would shame the Darkness..Song lyrics reflect the overall epic feel. War (''Paschendale''), religious martyrdom (''Montsegur'') and, of course, death and horror (''Dance Of Death'') all get the Maiden treatment.

My fav. tracks
Dance Of Death
I have a tendency to listen to their Title tracks first because they are always end up being masterpieces.. And this song falls nothing short of my expectations.. The solo at the end of 2nd minute and at the beginning of 5th min is just awesome..
Rainmaker
I've been going through a really rough time in life when I heard ''Rainmaker'' about a year ago, and upon hearing Rainmaker, I cried. I cried like I haven't cried since I was 10 years old. Then I put rainmaker on repeat and cried some more. It will probably be one of my favorite songs by Iron Maiden ever.
Gates Of Tomorrow
This is the definition of a true masterpiece.. Awesome music man
''...Trapped in the web - but I cut the threads
Show you the gates of tomorrow...''
Paschendale
WOW!!! This song has a organic feel about it with Dave giving it the required perfect feel.. Talking about war this song has in it to become a legendary song..
Journeyman
Journeyman really stands out for me, with it's elegant beauty and poise. Adrian Smith is criminally underrated as both a performer and composer.
Montsegur
The last track of the album.. Leaves you wanting for more..Trade mark Iron Maiden Stuff..
In Short
This is the best Maiden album ever. I play it 6 times a day, that makes it 666 times every 111 days.Trade mark Iron Maiden album destined to become a masterpiece..
So Long and make sure you UP THE IRONS!!!
