''D'' 4 Deshu: ''D''efinitely watchable. Review on D

Well folks, those who have liked RGV's(Ram Gopal Verma) Company would definitely like this as well. Even though ''D'' is not as STYLISH and as FLAMBOYANT as Company was, but still this one is worth it's money. The main reason why this is not as SOPHISTICATED as that of company is because this is not RGV Directed flick(Sadly)

Well fellas, these kind of movies can only come from RGV production unit...Many people have tried to do the gangster movies after the SMASHING HITS like SATYA and COMPANY but they all failed DRAMATICALLY at the box office. That's RGV for you.

Only he could execute such stories with AMAZING style. He is one of the most widely anticipated director or producer, I mean, people would wait for his movies to release :-)

Coming to ''D'':

The hero of the movie Randeep Hooda has done amazingly well... his get up is excellent. Looks cool as well. Though there is not much to talk for him in this movie but his expressions did the trick. The one thing about the RGV movie would be the make up of the hero.... it would be so real... I mean it would be how it should be. For example, here in this movie, DESHU during the first half until he becomes a gangster walks on a HAWAI CHAPPALS. This is just an example for you. He takes every minute things in to account while doing the movie. Otherwise you might remember in the movies of late 80's or 90's no matter how poor the hero was, he used to wear good clothes and SHOES !!!

STORY:

The story is all about a normal man and how he gets in to the Underworld and how he reaches the top and what are the difficulties he face during his struggle to get on TOP of all. It does keep your interest till the end of the movie.

It's a very simple story which anybody could guess(Most part) but what made the difference is the presence of Ram Gopal Sir. The length of the movie is about 2 hours 5 minutes. This movie is a TRUE GOONDA MAWAALI kind of movie( By now,every MS user might be aware of these TWO WORDS along with the name DHANANJAY !!! :-) ) executed very well. This is said to be the 1st part of Company, how MALIK in company,became MALIK from an ordinary man caleld DESHU in D.... confused ? :-)

Starcast:

Randeep Hooda: Has done a commendable job.. as I told, he has not spoken much in this movie but his expressions are excellent. Company's Malik has taken over from where Desu in D left.

Chunky pandey: Good supporting role

And the babes of the movie -- ISHA KOPPIKAR and one more who is heroine of this movie : Have done well on their part though nothing much was there to do it.

Background music: Good to some extent. But this is no where in comparison with company. It was a masterpiece.

Songs: They are typical gangster film songs.... different altogether.

All in all I would say, it is watchable. Worth its money. No doubt.

Go and watch this movie this weekend. If you liked COmpany then you would like this one too but as said it is not as sophisticated as that of company.
