Room Category: 1 Superior Room with triple occupancy
Tariff paid: 63003 nights= INR 18900(INR 9450 paid in advance @ booking and balance 50% was to be paid @ checkout)
Type of stay: Family(senior citizen parents and myself).
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING AT CRIMSON PARK – SHREE KANAK UDAIPUR OR ANY OTHER HOTEL OF CRIMSON PARK ESPECIALLY WOMEN OR IF YOU HAVE SENIOR CITIZENS. IF YOU RAISE ANY ISSUE AND REFUSE TO PAY FOR THE PATHETIC SERVICE, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL BE INTIMIDATED BY THE HOTEL STAFF. We could not enjoy even a single evening peacefully in our room without facing any issue. Summarizing my experience with them:
1. The housekeeping staff doesn’t clean the room once the guests’ check-out. We found bunch of hair lying on the floor and the bedsheet when we checked in on 30th Dec around 10.15 pm IST, i.e. 8 hours behind their usual check-in time. The room was cleaned only after calling the housekeeping staff 2/3 times.
2. The hotel doesn’t provide complimentary mineral water instead gives RO water in Bisleri water bottles “used” by someone else.
3. Despite we were staying in a triple occupancy room, the housekeeping staff never gave us complete set of bath towels, water bottles, tea/coffee bags or even coffee mugs during morning room cleaning. Every evening after coming back from sightseeing, my dad had to spend 1 hr to call the housekeeping and ask to bring the missing items.
4. Our first evening of the New Year 2023 was spoiled by the hotel and their callous staff. On 1st January evening around 8 pm, I found a worm strolling on the bed. This was the most horrifying experience for us. I immediately filled up the feedback form(see the pic) and shared with the video with the front desk staff. The hotel staff took around 1 hr to make the bed, escalating, etc.
5. Considering the pathetic experience we had, I refused to pay the balance INR 9450/-. The General Manager Mr. Jasram Chauhan and Front Office Manager Mr. Ajeet Singh instructed on-duty Manager Mr. Ghanshyam(Food & Beverages Manager) to take our baggage in their custody and not to allow us to leave the hotel until I made the payment. SEE THE PIC WHERE THE BAGS WERE TAKEN AWAY BY THE HOTEL STAFF.
6. WHEN WE TRIED MOVING OUR BAGS, THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF(I DO NOT KNOW THE NAME BUT HE WAS OVERWEIGHT WITH BIG FAT MOUSTACHE) PHYSICALLY INTIMIDATED ME(A WOMAN) AND MY SENIOR CITIZEN PARENTS AND THREATENED US.
7. WHILE WE WERE BEING THREATENED BY FRONT OFFICE STAFF, MR. GHANSHYAM WAS MAKING A MOCKERY OF ME WITH HIS TWO ACQUAINTANCES – “ITNI CHOTI SI BAAT KA BATANGAD BANA RAHI HA YE LADKI.”
8. MY SENIOR CITIZEN PARENTS AND I WERE SO FRIGHTENED THAT WE PAID BALANCE INR 9450/-
