Crime n the city:the truth is out there!. Review on Crime & City

Crime n the city is one of the best shows in offer from the radicalist's NDTV247. I loved the way the channel was launched as the brain child of the amazing Pronoy Roy.Of course,among the two channels viz. NDTV247 and NDTVindia the former really stands out due to it's huge brand-appeal, the hi-tech programming team and most importantly it's fantastic news crew.It is mainly targeting the urban viewer abse especially in the metros. With a striking name-inspired from the HBO smash hit TV series Sex and the City-and hosted Sarah Jacob, CntC prove to be one of the best shows aired by NDTV24*7. She does quite a decent job as the show uncovers the darkest side of our run-down urban areas especially in Delhi,Bihar and UP. In Delhi which is notoriosly known as the most unsafest city for women and incidently the country's capital, the show gives a deep focus. There were some shocking news coming out from Delhi off-late including the rape attempt against a Swiss diplomat. The show dared to go beyond what meets the eye to get more in to the incident.The show was strong also in stripping the bihar ex-minister Amarmani Thripathi for his involvement in the Madhumita murder case.The show zeroes in on the crimes against the poor mainly women and children.When I first watched CntC I was kept tuned in throughout the show and became a regular viewer of the show.The reports are comprehensive and extremely strong in wordings. The news crew is powered by ''the invincible'' Rajdeep sardesai and Natasha Jog(one of my favorite repoters on NDTV) with their swashbuckling high pitched voice makes the show a watchout one for those politicians who are involved with illegitimate activities. The USP of the show is in presenting the reports in a simple and articulated manner.In my opinion,the show is a highly informative and useful way to spend your thirty minutes from 2230 to 2300. So next time you switch on your TV don't forget to tune in to Crime n the City,if you havent yet. Belive it or faint, the chances are you will be glued in not only for the entire 30 minutes but the coming episodes also!
