"NO TEST" IND - SA 2015 test series. Review on Cricket

So team India director Ravi Shastri and test captain Kohli have had their way and India are 2-0 up in 4 match test series( one test washed out due to rain) . India dominated all the tests so far, winning in 3 days, ending SA record of wins away from home, record books have registered India as a better team, Ashwin, Jadeja and Mishra as spin wizards and captain Kohli as agressive captain.

But as Test cricket lovers would agree, such records are not what they desire to see when they pay to watch a test.

This was an opportunity to test the young India team against a world class team, privided matches would have been played on true pitches. Most pitches in India would aid turn and bounce on day 4 and 5, where spinners are a treat to watch. Fast bowling is an art on Indian pitches which do not aid seam movement, but agressive fast bowling, surprise yorkers, slower ones, cross seam bowling. thats the Talent you expect to see on show.

one loves to see a well set batsmen struggle against strategic bowling changes and innovative field placements in Tests.

Unfortunately the race to beat other teams on home turf has almost become unethical from the cricket lovers perspective who knows every other team will struggle on such pitches and India will get it back when they travel to these countries and cut a sorry figure on seaming pitches, where all our bowling talent will look clueless and batsmen will look like school boys standing against proffessional bowlers.
