After reading asyis review on Australian cricket team, I was shocked to read that he feels that India will thrashed this Australian side, whereas I feel that it will be just opposite, it will be Indian's who will go for leather hunt on this series.
The media has unnecessary created a hype as just to sell some cheap stuff whereas they also know that this Indian team without Azharuddin and Jadeja is no match for the mighty Australians.
Here are some of the things which media and other people has to say about this series.
''LIONS Vs KANGAROO'' [MID-DAY]
''Remember what we did last time'' by Sachin Tendulkar
''Even in the olden days these Australians were unethical and never play game with a sportsman spirit.'' by asyis on mouthshut.com
'' We will thrash them'' by some member of our team whose name I dont remember know.
Now think about all this bias comment of people is it necessary and justified looking at the records of the two teams.
I wonder how short people's memory can be, everyone remember last time Australian were here in 98 and we defeated them just by 2-1 margin and the one-day was very evenely fought between the two teams. But to my utter surprise we dont remember the last time when India toured Australia in DEC 99 and they showed Tendulkar, Ganguly and etc etc there class. We lost each and every game in Australia leave aside defeating Australia we could not win even single match against the local state team of Australia.
At that time Tendulkar got players of his choice ( he didn't think Azhar as good player to be in Playing eleven).
Here I would like to mention some facts about this Australian team.
a) They have not lost single match test match since last 2 years, and they have defeated almost every country within this 2 years and our India is also one of the victim in this record breaking run of the great Australian team.
b) This time they have Glenn Macgrath also in their team and he is known to be best in the world.
I dont know how this Indian team without Azhar can even withstand the Australian, he was the one who provided strength to our middle order and his experiences would have been invaluable to the youngsters.
But as a Indian I would like our team to win but we should never underestimate this Australian team who are not Kangroos but Lion in comparison to our Indian team.
So once again I request to people that if they remember what we did to Australia last time they were here we should not forgot what they did to Tendulkar & co when they were in Australia recently.
