Titan clashing?

Let the show begin! I mean c'mon guys, it has been real long time since India and Pakistan slugged it out on a cricket pitch. Yes being an ardent cricket fan and a die hard supporter of the Men in blue I am too concerned about the security scenario in a country where even the Head of state in not safe. I believe that the governments on both sides of the border should sit down and ensure fool proof security for the Indian Cricket Team.

For a coomon cricket follower the signals being giving out the Indian Government are very hobbling-bobbling. Many believe that the govenment fear is not for the players but for the elections and the SHINING INDIA CAMPAIGN. But no genuine steps are being taken.

Would not we love to see Sachin And Sehwag in full flow? Would not we like to see the World's Best Bowling machine pitted out against the World's best Batsmen?

Mr.Dalmiya's role so far has been very clean and away from any controversy, and goes well for a shrewd and straight forward cricket administrator. It shows how BCCI remains clean of the isssue instead of stooping down into the controversy.

This series would bring some respite for the money starved PCB and bring it back to the Black where its Indian counterpart has been for quite some time with revenues swelling to crores of rupees.

I believe that cricket and politics should stay away. Decision to tour Pakistan should be taken by responible minds on both sides of the border instead of certain non-political groups who make the situation more pathetic. (please stear out of politics and do something worthwhile for the commonb good of the people)

Hope to see the two shahs of cricket once again on the cricket field soon.
