Cricket is certainly not the gentlemen's game now. With sledging and so much of this tension on, it's not a gentleman's game. But that's why it's great.
Cricket is a mind game. You have to be very strong mentally. The tension will build, the pressure will build but you have to keep calm. That is why it is such a great game. Very few things are impossible in the game of cricket. The game needs skill, stamina, mentally strong and to a certain extent strength. Can any other sport of all this ? Some may call cricket a boring game, but those who play it will never call it. Fielding or batting, the pressure is always there. What will happen in the next ball ? Will it outswing or inswing ? Will be it be a catch or drop ? That's the beauty of the game. And that's why cricket rules in India.
