The Game of Poor Man

Cricket, Cricket and Cricket it seems everyone in India seems to breath, eat and talk cricket..... But every one may think why is it made so much important. I thought about it like everyone else, at last I came with my own opinion.

In India which is one of the most populated Country in the planet where poverty is very much existing, one wonders how could they understand the rules of tennis, table tennis, hockey etc., let alone the rules of these games where shall they buy the tennis racket, table tennis bat, hockey stick or Football... as these things cost you too much and you need some specified space to play these games.

Any games in the world has some thing or the other hindrances which a common man may not be used to, but in Cricket u can have a stick, or a measuring long scale and a small plastic ball, stumps could be drawn on wall or keep one bag or anything could be replaced for the stumps and two persons one a bowler and another batsmen draw a line for a boundary or four which is popularly called by the common man and that?s it you are ready for a cricket match so much is cricket made simple.

So why would someone would want to pay for the racquets, or hockey sticks etc., that?s my opinion about the game called Cricket and its popularity in this part of the world where it has dominated all other games.

Indian players have been also working on records for a long time and that has added to more popularity of this game. For example the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid etc. who have graced the game with there much more mature style and have made India proud in both forms of this Game.

And speaking of records India has the records in Cricket compared to other sports, which are way behind the International standards.

But frankly speaking we should support other sports also as we want our country to list in top of the medal tally in Olympics.

I think everybody thinks the same
