Recently I made an annual order for online magazine site "magzter.com".
The deal from Coupondunia was absolutely captive(Even now the deal is on). It said, Buy annual subscription for Rs.999 and get Rs.1075 cashback. yes, thats Rs.1075.
I went through Coupondunia and also I bought the subscription. Initially when the offer was not triggered, and I questioned Coupondunia, they said they are following up and it would take 8 weeks for them. So by delaying tactics they were just avoiding any question.
Now that more than 2 months passed, when I went them with the question, along with proof of purchase(invoice), this is the shocking response that I got
"Thank you for your immense patience and I apologize for the unusual delay in our response.
I was following up with Magzter for the validation of your transaction. Unfortunately, the merchant has informed us that this order may exist at their end, but was not attributed to CouponDunia. Hence a cashback cannot be applicable on this transaction.
While I'm sorry for this rare instance, I request you to kindly avail other exciting cashback offers on CouponDunia to make your shopping more rewarding!

Which means, while the transaction is genuine and while magzter is ready to offer me, it is coupondunia, the site which promised the offer is rejecting, and that too while the offer is still on in their website.
I have a serious doubt that the company earns the cashback from their clients, and only that they are not passing on to their end customers.
Be careful with coupondunia. I guess there are other sites like CashKaro who do a better job tracking and also refunding faster.
