My strong statement: "COUNTRY CLUB IS UTTER WASTE.in 360 degree! "
*False Promises Before Payment:
*I am one of the person who is trying to get my money back from CCIL. I was given lot of(false) promises before I made the payment by CCIL's marketing person(His name is "Aamir Hashmi" in Pune Division, his guru-manager is "SHIV KRISNA"). After payment(Rs.1.85 lacs, a single Cheque payment), I see only few of those promises had been printed in the membership letter they provided. Few things which are missing are,
Free plot(2000 Sq.Ft at Kolad)
They now say that it is not included in the package. However, if I get four persons to become member of CCIL(through my own referral).then only they will allot me a plot as said. The marketing person did NOT tell this before I pay.
Some of their affiliated clubs(at least in Pune) are not being renewed.
Marketing person told me that "Pan Card club, Pune" is an affiliated club which I can use FREE OF COST. After I became member, their customer care person told me that Pan Card club is no longer affiliated. I am staying close to Pan Card club.If I need to use their club I need to travel more than 20 Kms(one-way distance).
*"ZERO" After Sales Service:
*Their service is very worst; they will never respond at promised time.even if you call them after few days they would not even remember what they had promised. For example, I became member in May 2008(full payment of Rs.1.86 lacs), until today(Dec 3rd 2008) I have made more than 50 calls and I have not got my Welcome Kit at all. It's almost 7 months and struggling to get my kit.
I can say a lot of such cheating incidents and my personal experiences(Believe me or not, almost all are "bitter" experiences) with CCIL. I got sick of talking to them and get the job done.reason is that they are patching up things and there are no systematic process or rules for each and everything.even at their "Mysore Road" Resort at Bangalore outskirts.(I will write about my stay in that resort separately.that is also bitter but I will provide detailed information soon!)
*Vacation Booking:
*I tried to book a resort in a resort in Bangalore(on Mysore Road; Note that this resort is CC's own resort.so it should be FREE to members). After dialling 4 different numbers, I was able to get connected with someone who can make a booking for me. I was told that I should pay regular rental charge to avail the room becuase I did not book it in 45 DAYS in advance. When rooms are available and I have enough FREE STAYS(this is my first booking with CC), I don't understand why the members need to pay full-rental amount. Finally, I agreed to pay rental charge just for only one reason. I want to find out the exact quality of country club resorts and liked to collect enough evidences for their bad services.
*Experience at Country Club's Mysore Road Resort, Bangalore:
Location:It is located almost 25km away from Bangalore City Railway Station(Majestic?). Distance is fine but the resort is located inside industrial areas surrounding with factories.
ROOM:
Rooms are very very small.(Approx. 10'x10'). See photos attached.
Room contained the following:
a medium sized wardrobe(nasty smell came from the woollen sheets that they had kept inside the shelf),
an attached bathroom(oh, my God! How bad the smell in there! You need some special stemina to control your breath to some extent!) with "rusted" pipes and holes on walls! See photos attached.
a dirty sde table on side of the bed
a dirty 2-seater sofa
After all the above said thiings, there is no space to place the extra bed on the floor.
Aicontioner's remote was NOT working. Had to climb on bed and start/stop the air conditioner.
TV's remote is also bad.
EATERY:
Just few tables with a dirty cloth spread on them and few plastic chairs make a restaurant in this resort.
For breakfast, you will be given maximum 2 choices only. For the first day, they had only DOSA and BREAD-OMLETTE sandwitch. The second day, they had POORI only.
Cups were put on our table without properly washing. I called and showed the cup to the eatery's manager. He neither say "Sorry" nor questioned the waiter who put the cups on our table after we occupied that table.
In early morning, we ordered couple of coffee from our room, we found a dead house-fly(mosquito kind of insect) in it. We told that as well to the manager. Again, no reaction/reply from him.
Next day, when we had lunch, we ordered a tomato soup.firstly the soup was full of chillies which adults cannot even take it. We requested to change it, they agreed to it. In the newly served soup, we found another insect, looked like a BEE or so. we called up the same Eatery's manager and showed him. Again, no response from him.
Just before I vacate, I reported these issues to the Resort's Manager who said that we usually perform PEST CONTROL but it is possible that these insects might have come from the nearby factories. He accepted that this occurred few times earlier as well. I am sure he would have forgotten this matter even before I cam out of that resort. I have no surprises!
Want no-hassle vacation? Please avoid Country Club!
Country Club had made my vacation VERY VERY DIFFICULT! I would rather prefer to book a fantastic & clean resort(almost for the same amount they quote for stay) PRIVATELY for my future vacations, that's what I am going to do for sure!
How to get the MONEY BACK from CCIL?
You can ask, what am I going to do with the money I paid to CCIL? I am going to file a criminal suite against CCIL & the specific marketing person. Also I will file a case in Consumer Court as well. I am in the process of taking legal advises from an attorney and follow his advise.
Beware of Country Club: If you're lucky to get the land FREE, you may not able to build in it.:
I would like to caution you folks about an important point about Country Club's "Free Land" offer(?):
One of the marketing fellow told me(recently after I became a member of CC) that even if I get the free land, I MUST able to build in that land ONLY through Country Club's own(or Sister concern?)construction company(I think, that sister concerm is called "Amruta Estate" or so).
He further told that as of July, 2008 the construction cost per SQ. FT was quoted as "Rs.2000.00"(Two Thousand) which includes amneties(such as TV, Bed etc.)
After construction, you may be asked to rent that building to tourists through the Country Club(like any server apartment business)and share the profit in 50-50 ratio. No guarantee that the income details/accounts from your property will be maintained genuinely by this company!
The above are the information that I was told after I became a member. I have provided the aforementioned information to CAUTION any folks who are thinking to become a CC member and request you to stay away from this club.
I WISH YOU TO NOT TO GET INTO THIS TRAP. BEWARE OF COUNTRY CLUB's TACTICS!
