We did a round trip from Bangalore to Mysore to Coorg to WayanadWe had visited Coorg in the last week of May 2012.and stayed at Parumpara resort Kushalnagar. Kushalnagar is 30 km from Coorg and is not as cool as Coorg.In fact the temp at night was around 29 Deg and was not cool.I believe Coorg will be cooler.We went to Telecauvery to have a good sight seeing.One need to climb around 400 steps to reach the peak to get a sight of Coorg.
Irpu Falls on the way to Wayanad was also not great as the water was less.Nisargadama is a park with boating and noting special which you can get in any Big city.Dubare elepahnt camp need to be visited in the morning around 9 AM to see the elephant bath and feeding. Do not go for elephant ride here as it is very expensive.You will get elephant ride at other place at 1/10 the price.We went to Wayanad from here and the climate was cooler. Soochippara Waterfall is one of the falls in waynad.I would suggest only the healthy person to go as it has a long 1 KM climb which is difficult.
Edakkal Cave also require almost 1 Km climb, but it is worth it as you get a good sight from the top and wayanad and also the ancient caves.Then you have view point in Lakiddi from once can see the valley
