I ordered recently a pair of reading glasses from Coolwinks. I have lost of several pairs of branded glasses in the past; so this time I wanted a cheap pair of glasses that I would not mind losing. Accordingly, I chose a pair of low cost glasses for my use.
The buying experience was fairly seamless. I ordered for COD(there is a COD charge applicable that was not clear initially; became clear only on the payment page) as Coolwinks was unknown to me. They have system of confirming through phone. I was not available to take the call, and they put my order on hold pending confirmation(I guess they did not trust me either). However, once I confirmed my order over e-mail, they started processing the order.
After that the processing was lightning fast. I received the product well before the due date.
The frame quality is very poor(I cannot complain much as I got those dirt cheap). The lens quality is okay. It is difficult to make out the frame quality online without the physical "touch and feel".
Overall, I guess the product quality is reasonable for the price. Service was great. Would I buy again from them? Probably. if they continue to come up with good deals. I will try to ascertain the quality of the frames though.
