Great grub at a nice place that serves you according to your palate and purse. That being said, the prices are quite high. Nevertheless, when you dine at Connie’s you get the real deal. The meat is succulent and the ambience simple – no OTT feel here. I haven’t yet been at Connies for the karaoke events but I have heard that it is cool. Aside from that, you have a variety of options to choose from – ideal for the ardent foodie which I must say that I am. The burgers are to die for and if you think that you can finish them at one go, forget it because they are LARGE. So, when you think burger at Connies, think that you need to loosen up before heading out there! Wear loose clothes I mean or take the extras back home and gobble away.
The steaks are really juicy and the best part is that you don’t have to head out elsewhere to try something new. The staff is extremely pleasant and the music will get you in the mood for romance or a fun time with friends and family. We tried the pasta and the lasagne which was nice – some could do with an extra punch. My opinion though others may disagree. Didn’t go veggie here – coz the meat like I said earlier is drool worthy. The spare ribs are juicy and before you know it, it gets polished away. Order more if you love the drizzle and taste. Slurp. The Jack Daniels steak was my favourite – expensive but for the JD you have to be willing to spend some.
At Connie’s you get a breakfast fit for a king or queen and like I said before, wear loose clothes. The other alternative is to go to the place when you are HUNGRY. You get the best of the meats on tap! If you are too lazy and want to order in, I believe that the online option is available or call in and you will have your meal delivered on time. Value for money – I will give it a 6/10 because it is quite pricy. But, they do not con with the meat guys, you get the real deal. The food is delish. Ambience good and the waiters are friendly.
Nice place for family and friends to hang out and dig into, since I was majorly stuffed, didn’t think about dessert.
