I have connected broadband connection and I paid 2000 for installation where they install the modem and wires. But now I got to know the amount is non-refundable and I paid the bill for March and now I want to shift the connection to Kharar from Mani Majra and I figured they charge an extra 1000 plus GST for shifting the stupid connection. If the same modem and wires can be used to set up the connection so why should I pay extra for shifting the connection. If I have to return the modem so they should refund my 2000. I have not at all understood why was I asked to pay 2000 if the modem has to be returned. I basically purchased that modem from them when I paid 2000. 2000 was for what just to put up some wires and installation. Isn't that way too much for the installation? So they think they are better than Jio fiber and Airtel broadband, these companies refund the amount when we disconnect the service. Do not waste your money on connecting broadband. It's one of the worst services I have come across.
I took service from connecting broadband for my apartment from March and when I took the internet service, I was never told beforehand that the bill that I am supposed to pay in April is for March and as told by your service providers, it was the advance bill for April. It was told to me that the 2000 rupees that I paid, in the beginning, is the only amount of March and from April to continue the services I will have to pay in advance. Now I got to know from one of the executives that I am supposed to pay for April again and the bill amount has also increased from 700 something to 826.
I decided to not continue with the service and called customer service starting from May 2 but sometimes they are busy, sometimes unavailable, and I was told that I will receive a call for disconnecting the service. I did not receive any call and it's already 18 May. Today I received a call from ELPS Computer technologies, this man was very rude and ill-mannered in terms of talking to a customer and started his conversation with threatening tone and asked me why am I not paying the bill. I informed him about the whole scenario and he asked me to call customer service again. And when I said I want to disconnect, he literally asked me very rudely why do I want to disconnect? So I said to him that's my business. I need to receive a response from the supervisor or I am taking this entire fraudulent case to the consumer case.
I will not pay a dime for the service that I have not even used in May and for April, as told by your person when I took the connection, I have paid for the month in advance. I am not going to accept any change in the verbal agreement whatsoever.
You guys are looting the customer and to get them to avail your service, your employees make false promises and then you guys change your entire verdict. I paid 2000 for what? Installation and installation include the modem also. It was never told to me that the modem needs to be returned when I will disconnect. I was told this 2000 includes the bill for the first month, so for April, I paid in April.
In May, I did not use the internet and I have been calling customer service to disconnect the service and none of them gave me a proper resolution, kept on telling me that I will receive a call. When I told her how much does it charge to shift, she informed me it's going to take 1000+gst. So again I will pay for your stupid service.
I am not paying a single amount more to you. And for the harassment as well as if I don't get to talk with the supervisor or manager, I will take this case to the consumer forum in case.
