Colors had an infamous fallout with Kapil Sharma which led to the end of a wonderful show'Comedy Nights With Kapil'. The channel replaced this popular show with its imposter(thats how it felt) - Comedy Nights Live.

Instead of coming up with a new concept, the only purpose of the show was to ride on the success of Comedy Nights with Kapil. Channel's revenge or a publicity gimmick, I wasn't impressed. Mika as Navjot Singh Sidhu and his "thoko thaali" fell flat in my opinion. Nobody can replace paaji and his inimitable humour. Bharti as Bittoo Sharma's kid is boring. As a host, Krushna is not as dynamic or charming as Kapil. Despite parting ways with the comedian, the show is still busy drawing TRPs from demeaning him. I was bored of those constant references, was looking for something new instead. Lacks a variety, focus is more on Krushna & Bharti'the celebrities' than the characters, even the presence of Madhuri Dixit Nene felt neglected. Undoubtedly, they are talented but their potential remains untapped.

While CNWK was a refreshing concept, CNL is boring. Its no longer identifiable. A mix of bachao and cnwk, just an old wine served in a new package gets a'Babaji Ka Thullu' from me.

Message to the producers: "You no CNWK, so please stop pretending like one"
