Choose, rather elsewhere!. Review on City Pride: R Deccan Mall - Deccan Gymkhana - Pune

On my very recent visit to The Sachin's biopic, I went to this theatre, i.e. R Deccan Mall, Deccan. The review to the movie can be found in my review section, and here's my review about the theatre,

AMBIENCE-

The very first impressions of mine about this place that I felt was, cozy and non spacious, since the mall itself is not huge, same is the case with R deccan, I really felt the unease with sharing space with others as it was quite conjusted and poorly spaced theater, theaters are meant to be shinny and spacious, although this theater is shinny and clean but the spacing is very poor. Ambience is just average and nothing so special about the place, the air-ventilation is poor and air condition does not seem to work properly too and with such volume of people in so small space, feeling of being squeezed is mandatory to strike your mind.

TICKET PRICES-

Prices here are mind bending, since this city pride theatre is centrally located in the heart of the city, they have developed the theory of squeezing high amount of money here, although as per government norms water should be served free of cost, its not the case here, you can't find water easily here and finally end up buying water bottle for the same, Service tax is charged unneccesarily here, same is the story with eatables, insanely priced and not upto the mark.

Even the morning shows will lay you back by 150ruppess as the starting fares which is insane

PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY-

Picture and sound quality is where this place hits more harder, therd is no as such standardised audio profiles associated with the theatre here, I have no idea about the Dolby 5.1 channel certification here as you really can't feel the thumping and appealing sound quality of the movies you watch here, it can be rated average but considering the prices and service tax they charge, this place is way below average.

Cinema auditoriums are very small with seating capacity of maybe 150 people and seating conditions being okay to mention not so uncomfortable, but the screens they have put into the auditoriums are very tiny for great viewing experience, no curved or any fancy tech here, just average but very small. Highly disliked by me.

VALUE FOR MONEY-

As what my whole review says, this is not the place where you must go and put your money into, its not so good to pay 200 ruppess for an average movie experience and high service taxes, although I dont feel the zeal of getting any services for my paid taxes, I would deny going to this place and would highly reccommend not to go too, if it still makes you to pay such amounts, think twice and look for other theatres instead.
