I've been with Citibank for the past 3 years (since April 2009) when I joined my current company. I got a salary account with Citibank.


Since then, Citibank has always treated me a previleged customtakeouter whenever I approached them with my issues.


I have multiple relationships with Citi viz


Suvidha Salary cum Savings Account.


Citibank Titanium Credit Card tied up with Indian Oil Petroleum


Recurring Deposit (This is my 3rd one)


Fixed Deposits - (Have and Had many)


I hold a basic Maestro Debit Card as I am not a frequent shopper and am least bothered about reward points and other discounts like cashback. I've not even redeemed the Rs. 1000+ worth Petrol on my Credit Card with Indian Oil till date.


ONLY DEMERIT:


The only times I get dissatisfied with Citi is when my Citibank Debit Card, at times of emergencies are not read and identified by Citibank ATM machines ( often in my office and once in Banglore Kacharakanhalli area). When I insert my card and take out in dip type machines, it says, SORRY, UNABLE TO READ YOUR CARd, its highly frustrating when you need cash in urgency and you get these irritating messages. I have to swipe my card as maximum as 10 times in the machine to withdrawing cash @ times.


Other than this, I have never had any other kind of dissatisfaction with Citi. Citibank ATM's work very fine with other bank cards and Citibank ATM CARDS work excellent when used in Other BANK ATM machines. I have been wondering why it is so, but I have to accept this reality. Sometimes I sit back and laugh why Citi has designed its machine and card this way... Only God know why..


Citibank gave a replacement for my misplaced Credit Card free of cost. It also gave me a debit card replacement free of cost  (when it was supposed to be  Rs. 100 as per my relationship value then - around 1 lakh in savings account) due to the above mentioned problems and my card stopped getting sensed in Citibank machines.


BALANCE Maintanence


Not an issue as mine is a salary account which can digest even ZERO balance. But I will use this even after I change my office company as I have booked a Tax Saver Deposit for Tax Saving which is good till 2017 ( 5 year deposit).  I need to maintain Rs. 25000.00 cumulative in my Savings / RD/ FD/ Loans/ Mutual Funds) etc..


NEFT


Free for me. So no issues.  I even transfer as small as 10-20 rupees to Non Citi Accounts.


ATM Withdrawals


Normally its 5 times free in Non Citi ATM's. I've never tried beyond that.


NETBANKING


Seems good enough for a user like me.


QUERY RESOLUTION (customtakeouter Care)


TAT of 2-3 business days to resolve a query in Internet Banking is quite good.


I am very happy with my Citibank Account and would certainly recomment this to anyone who wants to keep his/ her money in a customtakeouter Comitted Pvt Sector Bank.
