. but that facility is only available to the citi bank customer service'managers'. Stare the customers in the eye, bluntly and tactlessly tell them that irrespective of anything, its only their fault, repeat this act so long as the customer is sitting in front of you and offer any random gyan to shut the customer up. Hey, who said you need to listen to customer? If you posses these attributes, Citibank is THE place for you.
I have had such an experience at the Citibank Andheri branch. A certain Ms Tandrima Choudhary, a'service manager' at this branch, was a real piece of work. First of all, she didn't listen to our question(and this happened for the second and third time as well) and then focused all her energies on imposing how I made a mistake and what I need to do. Well, apparently my question was a far cry from that and her response wasn't even going anywhere near it.
Interestingly, I saw her speaking to her colleague in her regional language, when the query she was checking for was a customer query.and it was front of the very same customer. Citibank, seriously? Totally unprofessional and insulting to the customer. The body language(careless shrugging of shoulders, rolling the eyes and disrespectful tones, use of lot of'you' and aggressive pitch) added an extra touch to the overall performance. A shooting star award given in 2008 was unabashedly displayed next to this manager's counter. It's time they give a'shooting down the customer' award to such people.
Citibank, if you're reading, spend some money you have shamelessly accumulated by unethically charging your clients and use it on the customer communication trainings for your service managers.
