Wonderful place to celebrate with your Valentine date. The food prepared here is done with complete elaboration.
The chilly chicken was crispy, fiery and juicy. The Mutton sheekhs took their own time coming, but when they did arrive, they came with a drum-roll. The Pomfret Masala was a large catch in semi-thick gravy, fresh and spongy. The mutton bhuna was another story altogether, it had been roasted so meticulously, the flesh seemed to peel off the bone without any effort. The Veg fried rice was aromatic, the Mojito was A-one, and the Fruit Punch spot on. The dessert was Gajar Halwa, and here again, the labour behind making it was evident - it was cooked so well as to lend it a premium touch. Super duper satisfied.
Just one thing mystified me - they didn't allow doggy bags to take back home the leftover food. How come? Our Veg Pulao and the Dal Fry were left untouched as we were too full, and even the non-veg dishes were left unfinished. So if they don't allow a customer to take unfinished food home, do they throw it away? Why?
Save for that, the experience was awesome. Thank you Mansur Mehta, Mubeen Mehta. Way to go!
