One of the many film magazines that attract your attention only when you have exhausted the latest issues of Filmfare and Stardust and are especially embarking on a long journey (the 24-hour kind), Cine Blitz may then prove to be a sort of an ideal companion. But otherwise, this mag is a drab, a terrible bore and one wouldn't want to recommend it to any body. The nostalgia pages that Filmfare does are unmatched, while nobody covers gossip better than Stardust. Cine Blitz had started as a wannabe glossy, and unfortunately it remains just that – a simple, predictable wannabe. One would like to tell Ms Geeta Mehta (the editor), ‘Ma’am, your magazine has the focus, but somehow the panache is missing, or rather, it looks forced’.
