The name and the place is itself unknown to many people across India. Mainly because these places never come into the picture because of the political issues raging in and around these areas or basically being over shadowed by Jamshedpur. But truth be told, if you go to this place, one would realise how beautiful jharkhand is!.i mean there are hills, lush green hills covered with trees all over the plains as well. But inside these forests live many tribals.theres nothing to be worried about, everybody goes to this place, the local people surely do.

The reason I mentioned this place is because there are many places in and around this place which are very well known and could be visited by car. As everybody knows jamshedpur, in order to reach this place in jharkhand, you need to travel by train to jamshedpur and make jamshedpur you're point of origin and move in and out from there. Ranchi is but few hours away from jamshedpur, so if you want to go to catch a plane you can always travel to ranchi and catch a plane. I first came to know about this place because I had gone to this place to give a job exam for a teachers post, I remember the places I visited after the exam and before the exam and the beauty of this whole place as a whole. I'am going to mention some of the places and tourist spots one can visit from Jamshedpur and Jadugoda being one of them, in a way!.

Rankini Temple is famous temple located on the road side from Jadugoda to Tiring only 2 km from Jadugoda market. This temple is famous for fulfilling desires in Jadugoda as well as in Jamshedpur.

Galudi Bridge is another beautiful place to visit which is around 5 km from UCIL colony towards rakha mines colony. This bridge is the largest bridge on Subernarekha river.

Aam Jharna is located just opposite of the UCIL residential colony. This place is known for its scenic beauty. It is a very good picnic spot in Jadugoda.

Dalma Hill: At an altitude of 3000 ft above sea level and just 13 km from Jamshedpur, Dalma Hills is one of the most frequented tourist destinations in the land. The views from the hills are spectacular. The dense forests, wildlife sanctuary and Lord Shiva temple attract tourists in great numbers. The serenity of the hills makes it a perfect place for unwinding. Adventure seekers are not disappointed as well. Since there is scope for trekking and mount climbing, the more adventurous minds do not allow themselves to be tied down by its stunning beauty.

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary: To spot some of the rare species and endangered animals, you need to be at Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary established in the year 1976 covers an area of 193 square kilometers. Some of the wild animals found here include elephants, tigers, leopards, sloth beers, gaurs, chital, barking deer and elephants. Elephants are star attraction here as they migrate in great numbers to this sanctuary from various places during summer. The sanctuary is also home to a wide range of flora. Trekkers love this sanctuary as the steep slopes are challenging.

This next place would be a wonderful place to visit for people of Bengal mainly because of the famous bengali author Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. The name of the place is Ghatshila. And believe it or not, its only 1.5 to 2 hours away from jamshedpur! The plcaes to visit here is the house where this famous author lived. I have a video and some photos of this place which I will attach with this post. The other places to visit in this place is   Phuldongri Hill, Burudi Lake, Dharagiri Falls, Naroa Forest, Mosaboni Mines & Surda Pahar. 8 km from Ghatshila is Galudi, another tourist spot on the banks of the Subarnarekha.

The Hotel I stayed in is more like a business hotel, where you do not get lunch or dinner but which you need to order in or go and have from outside. We simply ordered in and payed the staff who bought us the bill. The food is very good, very simple and very less oil, as the resturants they bought it from were close by and many people ate from these places regularly. The hotel is situated in the best locality of Jamshedpur, you could say the heart of the city and inside a mall but on the 3rd and 4th floor!.the room being given to us is amazing! I mean it's close to a 3 to 4 star hotel room! very very clean. The owner of the hotel is also very nice, he, incidentally was travelling in the same train from kolkata as we were and he was kind enough to give us a free ride on his "paid for" ola cab! we were so surprised. Well, we had a good stay and the hotel owner provided us with a car and the drivers number, and the driver charged us very less compared to what was charged normally. The name of the hotel is "Residency Square". I will post some of the pictures up here as well and you can see for yourself. Me and my father had gone there, he hadnt been to jamshedpur for a long time so he said he wanted to come along as well and we both had a wonderful time. The whole experience was great!

Please do visit these places if possible! you will be pleasantly surprised. The travel cost wouldnt be much at all!.Whenever you decide to go, wish you a very happy journey!
