Today jobs are no longer restricted to sitting at your desk from 9 to5 and earning a specific salary, .....Singer, VJ, photographer,
Eventmanager, chef, model, newsreader, journalist, landscape designer, cartoonist, illustrator, graphic designer, author, sportsman......these are the jobs of today-fun while you earn.And why not?If you have the talent why not pursue it, exploit it and make it work for you?
Kids must be encouraged to develop hobbies, to do something creative besides studies-who knows, a simple interest could lead to a fullfledged career.Look at Sachin Tendulkar, Gopichand, Sanjeev kapoor, Hema Sardesai, Barkha dutt(star news), Sabeer Bhatia, Dilip Chabria etc, --I`m sure it is love and sheer interest in their respective fields that has brought them success and fame.
You must be saying ''this wont work for everyone'' but If you have a choice regarding your career , why not do something you love when there are a lot of options today.I`m not saying you will succeed instantly, it is foolish to think like that of any job, you will face hardships, obstacles, problems but thats what following your dreams is about.When you do succeed it will be because you stuck to your dream.Its never too late to start--so see what interests you and go for it.I think if a person really likes his job he wont fail.
