Have no choice but to write about WEIGHT GAIN PLAN in this category.

It is equally difficult for people to gain weight ie gain muscle not fat like it is for most people to lose weight. As many of my friends have been asking me to write about HOW TO GAIN WEIGHT so decided to do so.

Food is usually a forgotten element of most mass building programmes. The truth is no one will gain muscle without food.If we eat junk food the weight we gain will be fat as these food do not provide us with the correct nutrient that is essential for gaining muscle.

To gain weight we need to eat more calories than our body burns off so we should eat more. Here is the list of few things which will help us to gain weight healthily-

1)INCREASE OUR PROTEIN INTAKE

-

High protein foods-Whey protein, eggs, egg whites, chicken breast, turkey breast, lean beef, fish(tuna or salmon), protein bar

2)REDUCE OUR SIMPLE CARBOHYDRATE INTAKE AND STICK TO HIGH

-

CARBOHYDRATE

-

High carbohydrate food-Potatoes, sweet potatoes, yam, oatmeal, beans, any leafy vegetables, bread, pasta and all cereals.

3)EAT SOME HEALTHY FATS TOO

-

Olive oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, walnuts and avocados

4)INCREASE OUR WATER INTAKE

-

Multiply your body weight by .66 to get the required ounces per day.

5)KEEP WORKOUT SHORT AND INTENSE

-

Concentrate on free weight exercises that works the large muscle group. The best weight training exercise for building mass are the simple ones. For mass stick with compound free weight exercises like squats, bench presses, barbell rows and pull ups.Use heavy weight and low reps and rest 3 mins between each sets.Do only 2-3 exercises per body part.

I hope my this review is equally usefull like my diet programme has been.
