Today I'm 21 and someday I was 4 and someday I will be 50 but one thing I'll never stop giving or even recieving;) are GIFTS! It's a very small and relative term but really means alot! Dictionarily it means something recieved or given without any payment but for me choosing the right gift means expressing how much my sister really means to me!
Material girl
I have many a times been under this category because of the simple reason that my sister is clothes fanatic! For my sister its like a dress a day keeps the doctor away and thats the quality I love about her because it makes the job much simpler!

Memories are part oflife dear readers! I have so many of them with my sister as well and sometimes I'll gift her something related to old times! I'll gift her a Dharmendra poster or record a cassette with all the boring old songs which she loves! At times I might just drop a few kachori's packed at her place! Ofcourse I wouldn't do that if it were some occassion but I have often noticed that such small gestures are more fondly remembered!
On occassions I often make her things myself along with certain things that I buy from outside! Like on her birthday once I had collected her snaps right from the age of one to the age of twenty three and stuck all of them on a blank pages with stanza's written below! I hadn't bought her a card but I still freshly feel the happiness on her face! It was as if I had gifted the world to her! To be honest Gifts is just a word for me replacing a sentence'you mean alot to me'! One really doesnt need an occassion for such things!
Dear readers its actually not a real tough job to choose a gift for anyone you love! But just a few ideas!
For birthdays:- Could be anything from jeans to spagetti tops to a beautiful salwaar kameez! One has nice small pendants at GILI or even handbags or perfumes! Needless to say that cosmetics are in many a cases the all time favorites!
For anniversaries / weddings:- Many people prefer giving the His & Hers watch or it could be something naughty like lingerie and undergarments! Now a days even imitation jewellery is like the IN thing! You could even gift her a vanity bag filled with cosmetics! I love bangles and love recieving them as a gift too!
Last and not the least dear readers' its not the money or the rate of the thing' its the thought that counts! Im saying this because my sister has gifted me innumerous things so far but the other day she mailed a poem to me mentioning that I was the light of the house and that I completed the family tree! I was so over whelmed that I couldnt stop crying!
Be it material or not
The thought does it all
Love is the best gift to give
Be it spring autumn winter or rainfall!
