I would specificly like to know about the compresor . Have heard that LG has high maintenance for its refrigerator compresor. The sevice is very poor. Would be more than happy to hear from you regarding any of your experiences with LG India.

This product is very appealing and value for money. But a little reluctant on buying it after hearing the compresor issue.

Please please let me know anything that you have to say about LG refrigerators. This is going to be a gift for my mom.

What is the best price that I can get for this device in Pune?

Do you know any alternative refrigerator that I can opt for with the same amount of facilities?

Hi!

I finally bought a LG Dios. Its amazing and true to its technoloy. One can easly toggle between the option on a lovely LCD pannel above the dispencer " Fether touch has White light." Also set Individual temperature for left and right half .

Plumbing is easy with the connecting kit that comes with the fridge. You get a T connector with a on off switch which can be fitted between the main line to an existing water tab. No added expense.

Need a normal 5 AMP power connection.  Interiar of the Dios is  well lit.

The left half of the Dios is the chiller. Has 2 meat storage compartments . Icream compartment. Other shelves.  The left half can be set from -15 to -23. Where as -19 being the default. Its frost free ofcourse. It can provide you with 64 ice cube in one lot. Express freezing can give you another lot in 2 hours time With express freezing . You can opt for crushed Ice if needed . Thats what I like the most. Its got a inbuilt 1.5 liter water tank that stores cold water and manages the Ice maker. Its has a Water dispenser on the left door that has a water filter inbuit which needs to be changed in 6 months. Indicator in the LCD shows the life of the filter. Cost apx Rs700 to Rs1000. Just a call way at the help line( Call center) . Dispencer gives you cold water. Same allows you to have Ice cubes and crushed Ice.

The right half is the one where you have the general refrigration . Has a wine rack with a small home bar. Its a push open bar counter that opens with easy on its own and not a thug. One can access the stored "Bottles" through that counter.  On the top rigt half you have a different storage compartment for milk and dairy items which need extra cooling at the same time but not need freezing.  Lovely Egg storage idea, I must say. You can buy an additional Egg storage rack as well, if needed. The lower half to the right has two compartment with humidity control option. These compartmets roll out and in with easy.  Which allows you to store vegitables and fruits . Lots of space for bottles on the door shelves and other daly use items. This half can be set from 0-6 C .

It has wheels which make is easy for you to move it arround. When needed so that you can clean the rare end of the Dios. When you wish to keep it firm just roll down the stoppers. Its supper silent . Only hear the Ice cubes when the roll down the dispencer.

Rest quality asured, I had done my own research. Its wort the price. I got it for Rs 95, 000/- Less discount and exchange for an old fridge.
