I am an avid user of the Microsoft Office products since the appearance of the Microsoft Office 4.3 version. I have still to graduate to Microsoft Office XP, and am still stuck to MSOffice 2000. Since the features provided in this office software are sufficient for my needs, both as a user and as a developer. I must be one of the few avid VBA programmers in India, and perhaps one of a select few in Ahmedabad. You will be surprised to know that I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, and have survived some of lifes most challenging difficulties all thanks to my expertise in MSOffice to produce reports that no one would dare to attempt. In fact, as on date, I must be the only person who can port databases across platforms, viz from MS-Dos(Clipper) to Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel and then use VBA to create userforms to manipulate the data according to my needs. Oh, I know that there are other software professionals for whom this is a breeze, but to understand accounting procedures and then to port databases according to the needs of the accounting procedures is a totally different ball-game altogether!
