Chhapaak is a biographical melodrama film about the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, and truly the film had a lot of experction and craze among the audiences to come the film, and finally the film has come out, Many between us aready know the story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, where in 2005 at the age of only 15 laxmi had been attacked by a dreadful acid attack due to reject a love proposal of a guy who was almost double in age than laxmi then.
This is a very hartful story and had been broadcasted all over the country that time.
So regarding that subject director meghna gulzar has made a film along with two leading stars in it, superstar Deepika padukone and actir Vikrant Massey.
Actually the film is a long awaiting film, and another most important thing is in 2019 Deepika padukone had not worked on any project/film. so this a long awaiting film for it's subject and topic, apart from that for the Deepika padukone's fans, it also has been a long trem to watch her on screen.
Altogether the film had gained enough ecpectation, popularity and craze amongst the viewers since it's trailer launch or even before than that.
I won't go to the story and subeject narration friends because many of us who are the film lover already have the idea/knowledge on what topic and subject the film hasbeen made apart from that sometimes our friends don't like too read a very long and lengthy review.??
So I am directly coming in the movie,
Deepika padukone has played the laxmi Agarwal's character in the movie, where Deepika has been named malti instead of laxmi and the surname has been kept the same.
Needless to say Deepika is the main protagonist character in the movie.
Apart from that Actor Vikrant messi has played the character of Deepika's boyfriend, these two are the prime characters in the movie, apart from that there is a 3rd significant character in the movie, the antagonist one, who threw the acid on the victim's face, and that character is plyed by actor Anand Tiwari.
The film could have been more better friends, somewhere in the film Amol's( Deepika's boyfriend) character would not have been able to give a constant through support with deepika in the movie, his expression, acting, screen appearance looks much dull and very ordinary which doesn't suit a character who is in a some important role and acting opposite of Deepika padukone, looks so dull and ordinary, so as it the film's value steps down tremendously, for this film this has become a major negative point I think.
So as Anand Tiwari's character, to see him in the film it doesn't feel anywhere that he is playing such an important role. he can not create that aggression or violence towards his character by that audiences can feel some extraordinary.
I will say Deepika is the main pillar of the film, director should have concentrated more for the film's casting. then I think the film would have been more impact full.
Meghna gulzar's direction gets 60/100 where she might wrote a fantastic story and dialogues, but in the story presentation and screenplay writing the film somewhat lags.
The film can not generate that emotions towards the audiences that this kind of particular story should remain.
The presentation and perfection she had gifted us by her earlier work like talvar, Raazi.
This film belongs somehere low as per to them.
Music of the film is very good,
Films music has been given by meghna gulzar's father Sir Gulzar Sahab. we all love the music, as well as the background score is also very mild, soft and melodias to listen.
Altogether this film has gifted us a good few songs and music which is truly truly admirable.

Altogether I feel very sad to say this film couldn't give us that fresh feeling and energy which will remain in mind for a long term.
But friend last but not the least through the film many protest and real legal aspects have been shown, like due to this acid accident indian supreme Court had been bound to file some new laws like acids will not be sold openly and other few legal aspect we can see through this film.
So this is a real biographical film and subjected to a very important issue regarding which a storm of protests had been raised at a time all over the country.
So through this film we can know a better about all.
So one time you must watch the film.
